The supply chain whisperers down at Taipei are saying something interesting. Apparently Nokia is planning to launch a Windows 8 Lumia tab by end of this year.
I have played around with the Lumia 800, and if I had not had a disastrous experience with the N8, I would have bought it. The feel is wonderful, battery is good, the tile experience is easy on the eye and usage while graphics and other workings of the phone feel pretty neat.
But a Windows Tab would be really something worth talking about. The entire microsoft/ windows eco-system on a tablet…it would make using a tablet so easy for the majority of the consumer base who are upgrading from PCs.
And then it would also be the right kool-aid for Windows 8 to launch in the market. Can Nokia turn it around ? I think it can, not like before, but its making a steady comeback and winning accolades on the technology used in the Lumia series.
Good. After the drivel of speculation around the new iPad, the tech-no-rati need something new to obsess about!
