The Lynchpin

Steven Sharp Nelson and Jon Schmidt make magic once again. They do covers, but every single time they make it better than ( I dare say) the original.

The way they then use the social web to promote their content is nothing short of amazing. And they do this by doing something very fundamental…

They keep it simple. They have not overtly re-invented the wheel on that amazing million dollar new media strategy….they spend that time to create mind-blowing content and ensure that they produce that content fit for multimedia consumption in a mind blowing manner as well…

And all this for free…every new video of their debuts on YouTube…

In the new media world, free has a different connotation… the scarcity in this vital world of multiple screens lies in creating meaningful connections, arresting attention and building trust.

The real price lies in creating want, not creating inventory

TO BE CONSUMED BY THE CONSUMER BECAUSE HE WANTED TO
