Filemaker ships some updates and an iPad app

I use it sometimes, so when I got the update about the update that it was undergoing, my curiosity got piqued. 

Filemaker shipped a brand new set of database tools customized for an iPhone and an iPad today along with an app. 

It’s pretty neat. if you want to drag and drop items into your database it’s simple. So from inventory lists, invoices,  to monthly budgets, this allows you to manage it all, right from your iPad or iPhone.

But this update is not so much about a functional database app. We have enough of those. Filemaker like its parent company Apple, takes the look and feel of that database to a different league, so that you have an awesome looking database application with great UI.

It’s no longer enough that you make software. Design and UI of application softwares are today equally as important in its success or failure, because people prefer good looking things.
